There are hundreds if not a thousand or so miscellaneous fixes done over the years that Bethesda themselves overlooked. I mean for example look at the changelogs Arthmoor and the Unofficial Patch Team did.
Some of the work mod authors make are actually better than some of the content Bethesda themselves put out so I don't see why they shouldn't be compensated for it. I mean authors like Chesko and such genuinely make outstanding mods and it's fair they get credited accordingly for their work. The Creation Club program is a legitimate means for Mod Authors to get paid for their work instead of just getting kudos by word of mouth.
